At Nome House, we work through the recording, mixing, and mastering process to help clients learn and plan out the next steps in their careers. We believe in helping our clients find sustainable, realistic, and continuous income. We are not a label or a management service; however, we leverage our knowledge and skills, and our client's hard work and passion to give actionable tasks to start a successful journey.

DeShawn Johnson
After working as an audio engineer in the United States for event venues, a record label, as a freelance remote contractor, and for his own DIY venue, DeShawn decided to start a business upon moving to Scotland to help artists while continuing his passion for audio engineering. Utilizing his past experience of turning seemingly horrible acoustic spaces into top-notch recording situations. He decided to offer a new service to artists in his new home of Glasgow, Scotland, recording them anywhere and everywhere. With a passion and education in acoustic science, he started Nome House Studios, utilizing over 8 years of audio engineering knowledge, two degrees, one in audio engineering and one in psychology, as well as his musical knowledge as a classically trained bassist and self-taught guitarist and drummer, to provide a services rooted in helping lift up his clients.
